DISPUTED MESSIAHS (originally published in German as Umstrittene Erlöser) is a scrupulously researched and fascinating study of the political, cultural and ideological “dialogue” between Jewish Messianism and Christian Apocalypticism in Central Europe during the Early Modern Period, written by internationally acclaimed scholar of Jewish History, Rebekka Voß (of Goethe University in Frankfurt, Germany), and translated by John Crutchfield.

The book was published by Wayne State University Press in 2021.
