The Bear City Ramblers

Berlin’s own Old-Time string-band, The Bear City Ramblers, reunite!

Fiddler Doug Chayka (of New York State), guitarist Ben Smith (of Iowa) and banjo player John Crutchfield (of North Carolina) are back together for the year and as much hillbilly music as they can possibly play.

Performances will be announced here, but you can also catch them leading the Old Time Jam at Vagabund Brauerei, every third Tuesday from 7pm to 10pm at the Vagabund Kesselhaus, Osram Höfe, Oudensarderstrasse, Berlin-Wedding. And if you’re an old-time musician yourself, bring your instrument(s) and join the hangin’ and twangin’.
